Player Insurance Program and Process

PLAYER INSURANCE PROGRAM

South Pine Touch offers insurance coverage through its national affiliate.  The scheme, which is controlled and managed by Touch Football Australia (TFA) on behalf of its members, covers the majority of non-Medicare expenses for players and officials. The Scheme also provides the following insurance cover:

  • Personal Accident, Non Medicare Medical/Hospital ($3,000)
  • Products and Public Liability ($20,000,000)
  • Property in Care Custody and Control ($100,000)
  • Professional Indemnity ($5,000,000)
  • Parents Inconvenience Allowance ($1,500)
  • Funeral Expenses ($5,000)
  • Death and Disablement ($50,000)

Injuries

1. When injured, report your injury to South Pine Touch immediately - whether this is to the on-field referee as the game official or a committee member or the administration officer.  

2. The injured participant must report the incident to Sportscover within 30 days via:
