Player Insurance Program and Process

PLAYER INSURANCE PROGRAM

South Pine Touch offers insurance coverage through our national body's insurance broker Marsh, for members who have completed the online player registration information.  The scheme is controlled and managed by Touch Football Australia (TFA) on behalf of its members.  To understand fully what the scheme covers visit personal injury claim to find out more.

If you have been injured while participating in a sanctioned* touch football match, you must:

  1. Report the injury to your competition administrator immediately and obtain and complete an Injury Report Form.

  2. Return the Injury Report form to your administrator so that it can be signed by an official. They will provide you with a copy of the scorecard/sign on sheet to show that you had participated in the game and that there was a record of the injury.  This will assist you when you make a claim.

  3. Lodge a Claim Form Request directly with Sportscover Insurance, ideally within 30 days.  Marsh advise you have 120 days after your accident or injury occurring to lodge your claim.  Alternatively you can call Sportscover on 1300 134 956, or download the Claim Form here and complete.  Completed forms need to be returned to:
    Sportscover
    Postal: Locked Bag 6003
    Wheelers Hill, VIC, 3150
    Email: asiapac.claims@sportscover.com
    Fax: 03 8562 9111

  4. Lodge additional documentation, as required by SportsCover within the specified timeframes.
